Grocery store is full of friendly staff, always greeting you warmly and eager to help. Though inventory is small, they are dedicated to providing the best local products to support our local economy, and making sure the Hardwick area has access to the healthy, sustainable products we can't get at the local conventional stores.
I have been a co-op member since it's inception in thev1970s. Every visit is a positive one. Tonight a parade of lights passed by as I shopped.

For a small town co-op I can't complain. They have a great selection of local products and the deli upstairs is real nice. There are some tables and free wifi, so it's a nice place to sit for breakfast and get some work done if you absolutely must, as I did during my visit.
Really beautiful produce. Good selection of coffee, although it seems that their frequent customers prefer dark roasters. Great place to get healthy yummy prepared foods or find those macrobiotic products you are hankering for.
